About the event

Between cultures: from first adaptation to genuine inclusion.

Migration reshapes a child’s everyday life — relationships, education, sense of safety and access to support. The conference brings together academic, institutional and practical perspectives to seek solutions that lead from immediate assistance to lasting participation in society.

Programme · Call for Conference

Conference scope

We invite researchers, teachers, psychologists, educators, representatives of local authorities, public institutions and civil-society organisations to co-create the programme of a conference devoted to children with experience of migration.

We welcome research findings, legal and social analyses, case studies, implementation experience and recommendations that can be applied in practice. We particularly value proposals that connect perspectives and show how to move from short-term adaptation to lasting integration and genuine participation of children and families in school and local community life.
