Conference

Dynamic demographic changes, the growing number of people requiring 24/7 support, and the challenges of multimorbidity have made the development and standardization of long-term care one of the key areas of contemporary healthcare policy. This requires the implementation of modern organizational and clinical solutions, as well as building broad intersectoral collaboration, which contributes to improving patients’ quality of life and the efficiency of the healthcare system.

The conference provides a platform for the exchange of experiences between the scientific community, practitioners, decision-makers, and institutions involved in the care of dependent people. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about international standards, contemporary care models, and the latest recommendations for the organization and management of long-term care.

The conference will also feature a presentation of selected solutions used at the Care and Treatment Center at the Multi-Specialty Hospital in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, which is considered an example of a well-functioning unit implementing high therapeutic and organizational standards. This presentation will provide a complementary context without dominating the main focus of the event.

The conference is addressed to healthcare professionals, representatives of long-term care units, social assistance, managers of healthcare entities, local government authorities, researchers and students of health and social studies.
